One of a kind assemblage earrings of sculpted copper, tiger’s eye, turkey feathers, recycled hand-dyed sari silk, and delicate copper chain.
Polished tiger’s eye stones hang within individually formed copper frameworks, flashing bands of earthy gold and brown as they catch the light. Beneath them, dark turkey feathers are layered among loose lengths of rust-colored sari silk, creating a soft, weathered fringe that moves freely when worn.
Fine copper chains trail from the sides for an additional bit of movement and asymmetry.
Though dramatic in length, these are a slightly lighter, more delicate take on my larger assemblage earrings—the open copper framework and soft fibers giving them an airy, almost wind-worn quality.
Each earring is individually constructed and intentionally imperfect. Variations between the two are part of the design.
