A natural Herkimer diamond set into a sculptural molten metal ring.
This piece is built from silver-bearing solder that was melted and shaped by hand, forming organic claw-like prongs that rise up around the crystal. The metal solidified into a rugged, relic-like form that feels more like an artifact than a conventional ring setting.
The Herkimer diamond itself is naturally double terminated and features a subtle twin formation — a smaller crystal growing alongside the main point. These formations occur naturally and make every Herkimer completely unique.
Rather than polishing the metal into a uniform band, the structure was intentionally left organic and textured, allowing the molten forms to shape themselves around the stone.
The result is a ring that feels ancient, elemental, and powerful.
Each angle catches light differently as the natural facets of the Herkimer sparkle against the rugged metal.
