The Bog Heart - Vivianite heart pendant
This one-of-a-kind pendant began as a hand-sculpted heart cabochon before being completely entombed beneath layers of sculpted silver solder. Only a narrow window remains, revealing a glowing vivianite doublet beneath resin—its deep blue-green hues recalling minerals unearthed from forgotten wetlands and ancient graves.
The sculpted surface is intentionally raw and organic, textured as though centuries of mineral growth have slowly consumed the heart beneath. Encircling it are rounded thorn-like protrusions, creating a relic that feels unearthed rather than made.
It hangs from a length of recycled, hand-dyed sari silk in a rich forest green, allowing it to be worn close to the skin with a soft, natural drape.
Each mark, ridge, and contour was sculpted entirely by hand, making this a singular wearable sculpture.
