Undergrowth is created from real preserved moss, hand electroformed in copper and suspended from a ribbon of recycled, hand-dyed sari silk. After electroforming, the copper was left beneath one of my favorite trees for a month, allowing the elements to slowly coax a natural patina across its surface—a collaboration between artist, time, and forest.
The result is a pendant that feels unearthed rather than made, carrying the quiet textures of bark, stone, and moss-covered woodland paths. No two will ever weather the same, making this a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
