Green Man Athame
A sculptural athame rooted in nature and transformation—where growth, decay, and spirit intertwine.
The blade is formed from opaque pale green glass, shaped with an organic, hand-worked texture that evokes ancient stone or flint. Its surface carries soft movement and depth without translucency, giving it a grounded, almost unearthed presence.
The handle is fully hand-sculpted and finished in warm metallic tones with layered patina, centered around a Green Man face—an enduring symbol of renewal, wildness, and the cyclical nature of life.
One side of the piece features preserved butterfly wings set into the form, accompanied by amethyst stones and a glass cabochon containing real moss—like a small living landscape embedded within the hilt.
The reverse reveals a different expression: hand-sculpted ornamentation and a preserved flower encased in resin, offering a quiet balance between structure and softness, permanence and fragility.
This athame is not sharpened and is intended for ritual, display, or symbolic use.
